DESCRIPTION:Come and join a fun and friendly worldwide community of Rueda de Casino dancers 🛞🕺💃🏻 \nBournemouth has a dedicated Rueda de Casino night 🥳 \nTo begin with there are 2 levels of classes: \n** 7pm Rueda Flow 💨 **\nFor those of us obsessed with how far we can push the rueda game. This is a closed group for regular rueda de casino dancers\, please message to express interest and to receive an invite. \n** 7:45pm (for a 7:55pm start) Rueda FUNdamentals 🤩 **\nThis is suitable for ALL levels of rueda dancers to practise their skills (but you must dance salsa)! We will cover the core moves needed to join social ruedas\, with a focus on fun\, including calls not used in the Flow class. We will also introduce a partnerwork move each week to improve your social dancing repertoire! \n** 8:45pm Salsa only social ** \nNo partner or booking needed (but an invite is needed for the Flow group\, and the timing of Flow can change when beginner’s courses are running). \n💷 £8 for one class\, £12 for both.

SUMMARY:Rueda Switch Workshop
DESCRIPTION:I’m excited to be doing another Switch workshop with some more new switch moves and transitions\, as well as exploring how switch can combine with other types of rueda!\nRueda Switch is an exciting and super-fun rueda format where the leaders and followers switch roles. 💃🏻↔️🕺Rueda Switch is fun way to quickly double the chaos in a fast-paced flowing rueda! \nNever danced rueda switch before?\nNo problem! At the start of the workshop we will introduce and revise the basic rules of switch before exploring how switch concepts work with common rueda calls. As long as you can both lead and follow in rueda then this workshop is for you! \nAn experienced switch dancer or attended our switch workshops before?\nNo problem! It’s important for everyone to revise the basic calls that we use each session because switch is a dynamically evolving style of rueda and there are different calls used to clarify exactly how and where the “switch!” is happening in different scenarios. There will always be a few new switch moves or transitions\, so everyone will learn something new!\nWe will then be moving on to explore Rueda Alegria switch concepts and providing a whole new level of chaos and hilarity! Each workshop we also add different moves\, structures or combinations so there’s always new chaos 😉  \nNot sure what to expect?\nWhen dancing rueda switch\, everyone needs to be able to both actively lead and actively follow in a rueda! This workshop is open to anyone who can both lead and follow in rueda and is aimed at intermediate/advanced level rueda dancers (ask if you’re not sure whether it’s for you!) You must be able to both lead and follow basic rueda calls (eg dame\, enchufle\, directo\, sacala/exhibela\, sombrero\, lazo\, cero\, pasaela) to join us\, so if you’re not confident in one of your roles\, I would highly recommend that you attend a few salsa and rueda classes in your less familiar role to prepare. Please let me know in rueda class if you want to practise your least confident role so that I can support you! \nDo I need to book?\nFor rueda switch workshops you do not need to pre-book\, however\, please be aware that previous workshops have sold out\, and we are limited by the size of the room! The price of the workshop is £12.50. For card payments please book using this site\, or speak to/send a message if paying cash and you wish to reserve a pass.
